Who we are

The party referred to as “we” or “our” in this Privacy Notice is Range Recruitment Ltd. We are an employment agency based within Wolverhampton, West Midlands, our aim is to be the most trusted and reliable agency staff supplier; providing both temporary and permanent staffing solutions.
 

As part of our recruitment process; Range Recruitment Ltd will collect and process personal information / data relating to job applications. We may hold this information on paper and/or in an electronic format, our Privacy Notice applies to all candidates, job applicants and contractors. We will collect personal data/ information about you during interviews/ meetings/ job applications forms/ Telephone / CV and email submission.

How your personal data will be used

Our lawful basis for processing data is via consent. We will use the information / data collected to. 

- Meet our legitimate business interests. 

- Offer you work 

- Manage placements and recruitment activities

- Perform effective internal admin

- Perform external Audits

- Pursue business by employing workers

· DBS Check

· Training Certificates

· Employment & Character References

· Payroll information (Bank Account Number / Name / Sort Code)

· Communication Preferences

· Telephone calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes when you call our office.

We usually keep this information for two years to offer work and placement opportunities. After two years of your last placement, we will delete any information / data held about you unless the law requires us to retain any information in the event of any claims that may be brought against us. 

Sharing & Storing Information

Your information will be stored securely on our central logging system and may be shared with payroll provider and / any umbrella company that you choose and sign to work with; we may also share your information with clients such as your Name, CV, Trainings and any other details necessary for approval which may include medical information and convictions where the law requires and allows us to. We will NOT share personal information such as contact numbers, email address, home address, bank details and next of kin details without your consent prior to sharing. Should there be any change to your personal details in the future (i.e. change of name, address, telephone number, bank account, next of kin, etc) you are asked to notify us promptly. This will ensure we maintain accurate personal details and that we are able to contact you or another designated person in case of an emergency. If it becomes our intention to use your information for any other reason, we shall advise you of those intentions prior to using the information for the additional purpose(s) as well as advising you of any other details within this statement which may be affected.
 

Your rights

You have several rights with regards to how your data is protected. By providing us with your information you will have the right to access and rectify your personal details. If you did wish to access your data, you shall have the right to view or receive a copy of the information in a commonly used format such as a pdf document or an e-mail. Any information which is processed by automated means and is purely required for the performance of a contract, You may also have the right to ask for the processing of your personal data to be restricted or even erased. Whether or not you exercise the right to erasure, the Company will erase your personal data in certain situations and particularly when the data is no longer required.

Why your personal data is legally required

The information we wish to gather about you is collected on the grounds of:

- Part of a statutory requirement to employment

- Necessary to enter into the contractual arrangements 

- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests.

You are obliged to provide this information due to: 

- Pursuing business by employing workers, contractors and consultants and interims. 

- Managing ongoing placements and recruitment activities. 

- Performing effective internal admin. 

- Perform external audits

- Meet our legal obligations 

- Meet our mandatory employment compliance

If you do not provide this information the possible consequences are we will not be able to register you as you will not meet our mandatory compliance, therefore we will not be able to offer you work as a temp or permanent worker.
